MARK SMOLLIN – marketing designer résumé

PERSPECTIVE
I am a lucky - fortunate to know my passion for art at an early age and to be developing that instinct to the best of my ability. Creativity has revealed itself as a process of discrimination that prefers quality over mediocrity and excitement to the familiar. To me, "Art" is an expression that others can relate to. The most successful artworks are proven to be simple and resonate with us on an intimate level.

I am committed to provide unique and memorable advertising design concepts and artwork to my clients. My skill set goes beyond visual understanding and includes conceptual thinking to a holistic view of your company. I prefer to work with growing companies that have a strong sense of integrity about the value of services and products they offer.

I have thirty years experience making images that communicate, in print, on film, for broadcast video and the Web, including their associated production processes. I now work using a combination of traditional and digital painting technologies on Apple and Windows computers. Specialties include corporate identity and stationery systems, digital vector and raster illustration, web graphics, animation and conversion of reflective artwork to digital formats. For large scale projects I use a network of associates for copy writing, marketing, printing and website construction.
